As a resident of Sammamish for 13 years and the Pacific Northwest for 26 years, I am passionate about preserving parks and wildlife and providing all current and future residents of Sammamish with a clean, idyllic environment. I have been actively involved in shaping the policies of the city of Sammamish by volunteering for City Planning Commission.
I am running for the Sammamish City Council elections to bring focus back to resident needs, fiscal discipline and open and transparent governance.
I have a loving family with three daughters who attended and currently attend public schools in Sammamish. My wife and I work in Seattle and commute daily, an experience that more than 90% of working adults in Sammamish share with us. As a family, we enjoy the natural beauty of Sammamish and we are thankful for the abundance of clean air, trees and wildlife. We warmly welcome all new families who would like to call Sammamish their home and we wish them the same quality of life that we have had here.
Fiscal Discipline: Will ensure that the city's expenses align with city's revenue without the need for new taxes.
Open & Transparent Governance: Create an environment where the City Council genuinely listens to the residents to draw inspiration from their requests.
Balanced Development: Welcoming new and future residents, ensuring their quality of life, and preserving our nature and parks
Urban forest management: Sammamish is the lungs of the east side. An urban forest management to maintain an healthy tree cover is a need for this city.
Emergency & Disaster prevention: Will partner with PSE and other utilities to formulate and implement policies to prevent outages during natural events
